I rarely look at Delaware, lots of other tracks to play.

Shan, I will share with you my personal antidote for such poisonous experiences.

It is a three step process.

Step 1. Play Lou Reed\'s \"Rock and Roll\" from his Rock and Roll Animal album as loud as you possibly can without blowing your speakers, and as many times as necessary, over and over. (Sometimes you just have to bang you head against the wall - don\'t worry about the neighbors)

Step 2. After LR has whipped you into an ecstatic frenzy, play George Clinton\'s Maggot Brain album***, again as loud as you can. It will soothe you back from the frenzy into a deep calm of knowing. Pay particular attention to the track \"Can You Get to That\".

Step 3. Repeat if and when necessary.

I am quite serious about this. It\'s a good alternative to other ways of dealing with the shamelessness that confronts us everyday in the sport we so love. Just try it.

Note: Led Zeppelin can be inserted between Step 1 and Step 2 if needed, but listening to Maggot Brain after achieving ecstatic frenzy is absolutely necessary for this antidote to have its greatest efficacy. A Biblical analogy would be reading all of the Pslams of King David in order and then, when you read the first line of The Song of Solomon, your mind blows open and light rushes in. You have to try it to believe it. I can\'t make this stuff up.

***One of the greatest and most obscure rock and roll albums of all time. You haven\'t lived until you\'ve listened to it loudly.

Don\'t go back to baseball. United we stand, divided we fall.

I sure hope the timer was inadvertently tripped late, or the run-up was a negative number. Otherwise, this horse might fare better than DOJ\'s -9, what with tracks slowing down over the last 20 years.
Regarding Rock & Roll Animal, not sure how you can\'t endorse Heroin as the ultimate track for Step 1.

Paolo - you\'re cracking me up!

It is an antidote remember....indeed, sometimes I administer myself a healthy dose of Sweet Jane in addition to Rock n Roll for Step 1. Frenzied release is the goal in Step 1.  However, I can not speak for the connections of this new track record breaker/holder.

Ok, nobody goes back to baseball. Please.
