Here\'s mine: and I\'ll never forget it!!
Has to be 10+ years ago, TG Analysis gives out an A play @ Churchill. The horse is 50-1, in a stakes race, and he wins for fun. Jockey was C. Woods Jr.(I\'ll never forget his name). The horse gets DQ\'d. I should have brought the track home with me that night, kidding aside.
Until this day, It\'s probably my worst beat ever and probably the one race that keeps me wanting to play this game more ane more!!
Frank,
That 50-1 shot wasn\'t the worst beat you know of...
...the worst beat was when your brother was a senior and our team got beat by Bonner on a last second 43yd FG in the first round of the playoffs
I mean what high school kid is kicking 43yd FGs?
note to all: Obviously an inside joke as Frank\'s brother and I played on the same high school football team.
Disclaimer: Frank\'s brother was first team all conference while I warmed up the bench!
Jim,
Dan DiRita ... I think that was his name?
and I remember #70 was no bench warmer!!!
wow Frank, great memory, I had blocked his name out of my mind!
