The odds discussion was interesting for awhile, but has run its course for the time being so let\'s get back to some racing discussion.
Seems to be tons of value on the Fri aftn card, starting with all the money Richard\'s Kid is going to take in the PIM Special as a horribly overmatched, older horse in declining form. I\'m not going to hold Brimstone Island\'s last against him as I think it is pretty clear he wants a route, and like the modest improvement he\'s shown so far this year. He needs to improve more, but he could be value here. And Last Gunfighter obv looks very tough here.
The race before it is a packed field of turf sprinters where anyone of 7 or 8 could win it, but I\'m going to key on 3 Sensible Lady who clearly on her sheet does not like KEE very much. Her last 2 there have buried some otherwise really good number power as a 3yr old and if she is able to get back to that and work out a good trip saving ground, might be the right one there.
I\'m not nearly as negative on Emollient as some seem to be, but do think there are a couple of interesting ones to keep an eye on, like 6 Maracuya, who would need a big jump but has lots of sibling number power and nothing negative on her sheet to suggest she isn\'t possible. This race is rather bizarre as almost all of the winning races run by the contenders were done leading by at least the 1/2 pole the rest of the way in.
Bens Cat and Super Chunky seem to really like the PIM turf course, hoping Bridgetown is a step slow off the layoff, but probably have to use all 3 of these in the pk4
And, of course, all in on TREAD in the MsPreakness.
