Title: Kerry's analysis is in
Post by: Dana666 on May 01, 2013, 03:42:25 PM
Brisnet has Kerry Thomas\' Herding technique analysis on line now. Very interesting stuff. Thorographs, Bruno\'s Workout Report, and Kerry\'s psychological analysis is a potent handicapping trifecta (let\'s hope so anyway).

Watch it rain and screw everything up. . .anyway, good luck to all & Happy Trails.

I was kinda overall disappointed for $20... is it to much trouble to just rank the top 5 horses in order... I mean ok you kinda told us your top pick but other then that he could of listed 3 or 4 more in some type of order.

Lol will let you have a copy of it for $5 bucks lol but to be honest it gives you a nice detail of the each horse in the race but it just would be user friendly if he had a list of like I said the top 5 best profiles or something like that. I mean like anything user friendly sells... I have an idea of my top 5 just be nice to compare but I bet Animal Kingdom pretty good based on his info couple years back so I will donate the $20 to him anytime, cause I would of never bet that horse on my own without reading what he had to say. Good luck everyone

Would gladly pay the $20 if he tabbed a somewhat hidden double-digit animal on top. Would be disappointed to read that the fave (Orb) has the best \'herding dynamic\'? So louisvilleguy111, would I be disappointed if I made the purchase? I\'ll only play a few hundred on the race, and the cost of the sheets already ate into my limited budget!

Jeez.  There is a double digit suggestion.

Interview with Kerry on TwinSpires Horse Racing podcast dated 5/1 per his Facebook page.  One poster commented \"ALWAYS loved Orb..\"  for what it\'s worth. I saw him win the Florida Derby and liked what I saw. That race is due to produce another KD winner, last was 2008. Other recent dual winners in 2006, 2001, 1995, 1990 and 1984.

The podcast gave nothing away but found these comments on drf postings under Steve Crist article, again for what it\'s worth....

Steve, do you pay attention at all to Kerry Thomas, The Herd Whisperer? He analyzes the emotional conformation of the horses and their individual and herd dynamics. He picked Animal Kingdom two years ago, and narrowed it down to I\'ll Have Another & Union Rags last year (he also had Went the Day Well in there prior to blinks being added). This year he of course picks Orb, but says that the only horse that has a chance to beat Orb on the square is Verrazano. He goes on to describe each horse, and states that Overanalyze\'s psychology is not as well-rounded as others in the field. Reading between the lines, if Orb or Verrazano encounter trouble, the only horses he seems to think have the emotional maturity are Goldencents and Itsmyluckyday.

I\'m sure he loves the fact that you just detailed the analysis people are paying $20 for...
