Title: Cold hearted orb
Post by: drbillym on April 30, 2013, 04:53:10 AM
that rules the night, removes the colours from our sight, red is grey, and yellow white, but we decide which is right, and which is an illusion.  Surprised Richiebee hasn\'t yet posted this.  I am high on goldencents, but i am afraid it will be no illusion when Orb comes after him at the top of the stretch.

Goodness, the lads in TMB were handicappers! It\'s right there!

Dare I add:

Brave Helios, wake up your steeds
Bring the warmth the countryside needs

A clean trip and safe return to all, in the big race...and
all of the little ones, too.

This is probably the first time I read or heard those words without a recently depleted bag of chocolate chip cookies nearby.  Back in the day, so to speak.

Orb\'s first 3 races this year over a 10 week span showed almost a 10 point improvement, to a level even the best older horses struggle to repeat.   We don\'t have to run a study to know that consecutive big tops take their toll, and so do #\'s north of -2.   Pretty big double whammy for a 5-1 shot in a field of 20...
