Title: river rocks
Post by: mistermoose on April 17, 2013, 02:52:00 PM
Good luck to covel in the lexington on saturday. My brother and I own a 1/4
of pure fun. This is supposed to be a conditioning race for her. The plan
is for Rosie to take her back, then come outside on the turn and finish strong to set her up for the oaks. As long as she is closing and comes back
healthy we will be thrilled. I think river rocks is an improving horse,
and one of the most likely winners.
If all goes well I will head for lousville in 2 weeks with horses running
on derby weekend for the first time ever. I think war dancer has a big
shot in the American Turf oaks day, then pure fun, and hopefully Bellarmine
will get in to a nwx1 on derby day. Needless to say I am super excited.

What were the odds of having two mooses post so close together?

I\'m guessing the TG Board exacta in the Lexington may be paying less than it should...

If you were old enough to watch Rocky and Bullwinkle, you\'d know the plural of moose is \"meese.\"

Now watch the grammar police come by to tell me the plural of moose is \"moose.\"

Jim do you have any horse that can still make the derby?

Vito,

Falling Sky has enough points to get in so as long as the horse stays as good as he is now, we are going.

Its very exciting.

Thanks for the thoughts.

What is so exciting about running a distance challenged horse - so you and your entourage can get an owner\'s table? I say it\'s part and parcel of what\'s wrong with racing.

I\'ll bet your horse against any horse (similar odds) any amount of money. So cool my foot!

Running a horse who earned its way into the Derby, who is healthy, is so far down the list of what\'s wrong with racing that you need a magnifying glass to see it.

It\'s one thing to discuss a horse\'s chances and another to just spit on it.  The latter is what\'s not cool.

Pretty shitty post highroller.  Jim is one of the nice guys on the board.  We have plenty of curmudgeons u can attack. (Or sarcastic posters like myself)

If you are credible and have money, I will likely take u up on your bet.  Based on the horses I see entering, the pace looks moderate and he will be near it.  I think the horse can be in it for awhile.

There will be a number of horses in the race that he should finish in front of.

Same kind of post as last year, see above..
It seems like he is having his own personal feud with Cov or Cov\'s good fortune..

1st off Jim, good luck with this one and any other horse you have !! True small world story my good friend just informed me that he is the breeder (partnership) of the dam of this one flip the Bird.  He used to work for the vampire squid as well ... 1st horse he got in on was a claim of Flippy Diane, and what a claim it was. She was a very good producer and they hit a home run selling this for a $100k at Saratoga. Pletcher signed and unfortunately she didnt make it through his program. Flippy Diane\'s horses arent the most sound though... Again, ALL THE BEST and thanks for investing in the game. Need more of you. Remember, come August lets get together with Josh and have a few coldy pops !! Cheers ...
