Joe Hirsch.
We are sorry to see you move on. I hope someone names a Grade I after you and I can see you in the winners circle next year presenting the ceremonial trophy.
Good Luck.
Nor is the sometimes TG user & private Ky clocker for me & a few others on this Bd of the same name who just got the official word that he qualified for the finals due to his showing in the Kee contest this weekend, no mean feat considering there were 427 entrants. He asked me to pass on his special thks to Derby 1592 for the read on New Economy & Catlin\'s read on Political Attack, which he didn\'t use & which cost him 1st & $5k. Of course, if I had also used NE, or would have been able to come up with just one half way decent price horse on Sun, I would have been able to avoid blowing what appeared to be an insurmountable Sat lead at FG this weekend. Such is racing, especially when it comes to contests where there is no odds cap.
I agree of course on Mr Hirsch, who I was lucky enough to meet & talk to a few times the last couple of yrs. A true gentlemen who is quite literally a walking encyclopedia of the history of the sport.
Mall,
I wish Joe luck in the big dance.
Any luck at all on Sunday and you would have been joining him.
Chris
