Wow. Wonder if the events discussed here precipitated this.

Of the three fastest horses going in, two are Allday and one is Rudy. Guess I won\'t be doing the Wood for ROTW. And it would help if there is another 2 turn race on the card.

Part of the PR exercise started by Clueless Sanini last year in an effort to save his job (it didn\'t),an embarrassment for NY racing.Message is plain:

1.NY Racing is not conducted on an honest basis so we will ensure the integrity of a couple of races per year by taking extraordinary measures.

2.The other 240+ race days, players are on their own, horse safety not as important.

Mike-- I absolutely agree with that. But it\'s a start. And there are signs of life all around the industry. There\'s a long way to go, but at least for the first time there is movement.

Santa Anita imposing their own enhanced security measures for the S.A. Derby entrants.  The point Miff made below is also relevant here.

Well, Chad Brown worked for and learned under the tutelage of one Dr. Allday, no?

According to the article I read, yes he did.  Maybe 10 years ago or so?  It was before he worked for Frankel.

But either he uses Allday or he doesn\'t.  I\'ve never heard that he is one of Allday\'s clients.

Mr Brown had a falling out with the Dr soon after his training career began. Two massive egos weren\'t suited to survive.

TAP, Rudy, Tricky and many othe trainers often use different vets for different issues. There are vets known as leg guys or back guys etc.Would think a vet is a vet but over time guess they establish reputations in certain areas.

Wonder what Sight thinks of \"specialist\" vets?

Big Brown had a few vets during his sudden/mysterious ailment post Belmont. It is not out of the norm for big owners to fly a certain vet in to consult on a certain injury, esp on a high level horse.

It\'s not common to fly in vets.  There isn\'t a need to do so normally.  Xrays and ultrasounds can be emailed or Fed Exed to another vet.  If the horse needs to be seen by the best like a Bramlage, then you send the horse to him.

Eight,

Agree uncommon, a couple of wealthy owners will do it. Not speaking of the serious cases where horses need to be sent to Root/Bramlage to be saved.

Any vet can give a shot, so Allday having to fly wherever to do so makes no sense either. If he\'s currently doing something illegal,it\'s in front of many.Don\'t buy that TAP or many others are KNOWINGLY allowing Allday or anyone else to administer an undectectable illegal substance, just dont but it.

Chad Brown and Dr Allday have not spoked in over 4 years
