Black Caviar in the form of her life ahead of 24th straight win bid, says trainer Moody

By Marcus Townend

Unbeaten Australian supermare Black Caviar will try for her 24th consecutive win as she takes on six rivals in the William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley on Friday with trainer Peter Moody ominously warning that she is in the form of her life.

The seven-year-old recorded a bloodless victory in a course record time when successful in the Lightning Stakes at Flemington last month.

That was Black Caviar's first run since she just hung on for victory in the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot when jockey Luke Nolen eased down before the line.

Just cantered home. By the time she\'s back to the paddock, was no longer even breathing noticably.

Just wow.
