Jerry, Question I have for you is about the quarter point moves, the way I play is if a horse had a top at 2yr-old say of a 8.3 and then at age 3 he runs a 8.2, I would\'nt be playing him next out for the move or two races later, now if it was a 1/2pt move up to a 2pt move I would of course. What is your thoughts on the very small moves or backward moves???

Kev, I\'m going to take a crack at this.
Context is everything. In other words, you need to see a particular horse\'s line to determine how to judge a small forward move or a backward move. Spacing is important as well. In general I don\'t attach any added relevance to 0-1/4 point moves.
As Jerry has stated here numerous times, there\'s a margin of error in the figures. The wind info are estimates and the ground data may not be exact to the step. We try to make the most accurate figures possible but practically there is some margin of error.
