I don\'t think Hessonite is capable of competing at the 1 1/4 mile distance. Her sire progeny (Freud) have an average winning distance around 6F. Very sprint oriented.

However, speaking of noticeable rides (good bad or just noticeable) I saw Edgar Prado boot one home Wednesday or Thursday on the turf by doing a Borel on the last turn before angling out to pass the last couple.

I don\'t think I\'ve seen Edgar inside the three path since his accident.

The first four  finishers in the Hessonite race are all bred for 1 1/4 races with the winner being the most pronounced.

Bet her on in the next which will probably be a mile or shorter.

Guess it\'s an aberration that the longest race ever run by Hessonite(9f) was her best.Obviously being by Freud is irrelevant as to her distance capability.Seems the long winded Manila dam sire is the main influence here.

Ugly trip or she\'s much closer at the end.

Inquiry was posted against her by David Cohen as she broadsided the 6 on the turn.
