They took race 10 off the turf following the 7th race.

And everyone gets paid for that?  Why?

NYSRWB rule that any race taken off the turf after the start of the pick 4 or pick 6 becomes an all race.

That\'s a pretty good rule, IMO. I wish
Illinois would adopt it.

Now, if they would stop switching us to the
post-time favorite, and program the damn system
for alternates; I\'m probably in the serial
bet because I hate the favorite.

C\'mon, already, tote companies: it\'s 2012. We
just landed a spacecraft on another planet, for
chris\'sakes.

Rick,

It\'s all about money.Racing does not really have the capital to spend on modernization of the tote system, notwithstanding handle of a still respectable 12 billion.

NYRA, on the other hand, could re direct some of the purse money given to garbage slow rat maiden claiming NY breds and improve some aspects of their tote operation. Maybe, State Steward Donofrio wont have to press a button then.

Miff,

Horrors! All due respect, do you know who you sound
like with that statement? (Their initials are \"C.C.\")

I know it\'s \"all about money\", but...isn\'t their
something wrong when a business that handles $12
BILLION a year is still running on the computer
equivalent of a 10-key adding machine?

Again, it\'s 2012. Our national tote system
is disgraceful. Really, how much would it take to
implement a modern system...$10 million? 20?

Chump change, IMO.

Rick,

As been said here forever, agree, there is something wrong with the game, the people who run it.
