The fastest number is probably a horse who lost a ton of ground in his race. I would imagine that anyone who challenges the fastest number would have to be pretty wide at some point?

Yeah, would certainly like to think this is the case.  Probably should have said on this side of the pond.  Think we could see a big number winning the Fourstardave tomorrow.
