Don\'t know who rode Lady Of Shamrock, but what a great ride. Saved ground around both turns, waited for an opening turning for home and shot through a tight opening inside the leader to win going away.
Many jockeys riding the favorite, Mike Smith for example, travel wide not wanting to get the best horse in trouble. I know Smith always goes wide and never saves ground. This jockey gave LOS a tremendous ride.
You understand you\'re asking for it when he goes wide, right?
It was a GREAT ride. But He has more pictures of himself here recently posing with his ---- in his hand than he does at Betfair Winners Circle pictures whixh was 4.
Line of the Year came from Julie Krone who said, \"Please tell me he lost a Bet.\".....LMAO
JB,
I take so much crap defending him, just having a little fun with yesterday\'s ride.
And yes, he will go wide again, as many jockeys do. He just gets noted for it more than others.
It was a really nice ride though.
SC,
When did Julie make the comment and what did she mean?? Not being cranky, its just lost on me. I\'ll laugh at anything.
It was around Tuesday or Wednesday on her Facebook. Mike did a fully Nude Photo Shoot for ESPN The Magazine. That was her commentary. I thought it was a funny comeback. Like a \"are you kidding me?
I guess I am wrong!
I\'m a big fan of Smith, obviously.
However, not big enough to want to view that.

How big would it have to be?
I really like the Filly who won. She reminds me of Memories of Silver who had an accelerating burst of her own. Probably one of the better ones Ive seen. As a matter fact there was a small similarity to the rail move Bailey made in with Memories in the Yellow Ribbon one year except Solis almost put him and her over the rail on Rayafan. A 15 minute inquiry ensued and they left it as is.
I actually enjoyed this Betfair Meet.
