Title: Tomorrow's Races
Post by: HP on June 29, 2012, 06:05:48 PM
At Monmouth tmw., what does anyone think about R Gypsy Gold in the Lighthouse Stakes?  10th?  Why hasn\'t the horse been running?  If that one doesn\'t run it could be good.

I like Teeth of the Dog to back up tmw. in the Dwyer.  And I don\'t like Unstoppable U either.  That could be a good one as well.

Morgan\'s Guerilla will be my biggest bet of the day.

Significant early pace-edge IMO and should get a rail trip and a very good chance he pairs his \"4\".  I put the 4 in quotations, because I think it was a better race than that, and the reason he bounced so hard.  The Hawthorne track that does not favor early speed and he was the only one near the lead that hung around for the finish that day.  With his wide trip, he was easily the best horse in the field that day.

If the speed is playing anywhere near halfway decent tomorrow, I\'ll be all over 4-1, and I think it might actually drift higher.

Unfortunately, there aren\'t any routes on the dirt prior, so it will be hard to tell if speed is holding for routes or not.

Looks decent to me.

Everyone near the front has won.  That 14-1 came out like a shot in the 5th and the 8/5 couldn\'t get by.

I don\'t know how that 9-1 in the 6th hung on for 2nd.

I am going to take a small shot at that new grand slam wager: 7,1/2,6,9,10/1,6/1

Mine came in second, third and fourth behind Teeth.  Oh well.  Good day otherwise.

Yep, that was a brutal beat for the #2.  We almost got there.
