.....is to be at the track so that you can view what is happening live in living color - AND - to have a hand held device connecting you to a wagering service that allows you to post and cancel wagers up until post time, and so you don\'t have to wait in a line full of incompetant morons - including the tellers.
2nd best option would to be at \"living room downs\" with a great live video feed from the track. I don\'t know about the other horses and their backers, but I knew I (Hansen) was done in the post parade - and since I was more than 8 minutes away from the track where I placed my bets, I had no chance to cancel my bets (See above). At least I didn\'t load up. In that regard, TG saved me $260.00.
Kudos to NBC. Ya finally did something right covering this post parade - and I still got screwed. Variables..................................
