arcadia forecast for tomorrow: 95-100 degrees.
The forecast for my living room is 70 degress, but the beer will be colder. :-)
Hopefully for all of us our handicapping is hotter than those So Cal temperatures.
Listening to a radio call in show.... they are talking about how ridiculously fast the splits and times have been on the SA turf this week, despite the aeration, etc. -HP
Actually, for Arcadia, the forecast is 102 degrees. That is 39 for all the Euros out there.
There might be some horses who can deal with the heat, but I doubt very much if there are any who have any experience with the ashes which are literally falling from the sky here due to wildfires. The spits on the turf may be fast, but after reviewing charts, and watching the stakes which just took place, I\'m not sure where the idea that early speed is holding up on the turf originated.
