Title: BC Juve Fillies
Post by: Empire Maker on October 20, 2003, 09:51:59 AM
I ordered the full set of pre-entries for the BC.  Thanks for posting them so quickly.

I am analyzing the numbers you posted for the Juveile Filles and I was surprised to find that Forest Music scored a much lower number than Society Selection, Victory USA, AND Halfbridled. (?)   In fact I was surprsed at how Halfbridled\'s numbers looked.  Not at all what I was expecting to see.  At first glance she looks like she may be third or fourth choice when I know that she is defintely the class of the field. So what is the deal with Forest Music?  I am sure that she will be 60-1 or more it could not be that she would ever be a contender in this race could it?

Jerry, please help as I am so confused by the Juve fillies number.

Thank you very much in advance.

With all due respect, that\'s why we have a seminar.

Empire Maker--

I personally have a hard time translating a performance like that in a 6f maiden race at Laurel into a BC Juvenile Fillies contender, especially considering the filly\'s connections.

Besides,I always thought the Juvenile Fillies race was an excellent time to grab a beer (or two if you already blew the Distaff) and a burger.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

Too good a reply to merely let pass.

But without promoting your Seminar, I must say that the Juve Fillies is the race I most anxiously await your analysis of.

Empire Maker expresses surprise at the figures - here\'s hoping that FOREST MAKER is a third of the price he is sure of.  At that price any doubts associated with FM will be more than overcome by the juicy mutuel.

Kudos, however, to Empire Maker for pointing out the fact the race appears wide open after Figure Maker\'s sprint number... and considering how all the experts have targeted HALFBRIDLED as the shortest price favorite on the card (aren\'t they slighting Sightseek and Cuvee?)...the JUV FILL is the Race of the Week!!!
