With the Derby Futures Pool 2 opening this weekend, wondering if we could add in a few:
Daddy Knows Best - ASM
Lucky Chappy - Motion
Our Entourage - TAP
Thunder Moccasin - TAP
Drill - BB
Discreet Dancer - TAP
Isn\'t He Clever - Dominguez
Windsurfer - TAP
When will pool 2 be available?
It will be online later this afternoon (Friday) or early evening. Suggestions?
Just downloaded it. Just wondering if no time for the additions? As only see the listed pool runners. Either way, good stuff.
My bad. I didn\'t see your additions. A new file will be up shortly, say 1pm, including the eight you mentioned. Just download. You will not be recharged. That goes for all others who downloaded before 1pm est Saturday.
Thanks Alan.
And now I owe you another thanks Alan. 1-3-9. Although I continue to be amazed how friggin little these tri\'s pay. Hope you played it.

Alan gave this play out on Jason\'s radio show, too.
Don\'t underestimate the effect of TG Analysis and Alan\'s listeners. Yesterday, I bumped into two different guys I occasionally trade info with, and both know I listen to Jason\'s show; both said, hey didja get Alan\'s picks, can I have \'em?
That was at lowly Hawthorne racetrack...imagine what happens in SoCal, which is really Jason\'s target audience.
Good pt Rick, had not considered that aspect to it, but given that Jason\'s show was in fact where I heard Alan give the pick, certainly logical that other\'s did as well.
Is there a good way of estimating general TRI payouts (in spots unlike this one, where no real push on certain combos), given win prices, that anyone knows of? Obviously, it would only be guesstimates, but even some kind of short hand, back of the envelope thing would be useful.

Multiplying the win odds of the horses gives an estimate. If winner is well bet, it will be a little less than the number. Longshot will increase the price. But generally speaking, doing this puts you in the ballpark.
Thanks P-Dub. Just tried that for Big Cap try and it comes to around 167, which since it paid 138, is indeed reasonably close. Will keep this idea in mind for the future. Much appreciated.
Any time Phil.
My weekend is winding down, been a good time. Had that FTS at Aqu and the double, and just hit that 62-1 bomb wire job at FG. I never get tired of this place, love Santa Anita. Good luck..
