Title: question for JB
Post by: kev on October 09, 2003, 07:40:46 PM
Looking over the LRL card for sat. in race 8 there\'s a horse MERRYLAND MISSY at ML 20-1 and 110lbs. I see this horse maybe running a new top next out. She has had about 7 weeks from the 5.2, shes a forward moving filly. If she can run a new top of a 4.2 and the weight i think she is a nice play at the odds??????  Is this going to far or does she have a shot, your thoughts please?????

As a rule we don\'t do this, but briefly-- I don\'t like the pattern (if the off race was because of turf she should have come right back with a big one, and I don\'t see why she should now go forward on short rest), and there are some really fast fillies in there, meaning she would need about a 2-3 point new top to have any shot. Not for me.
