The horse in question is/was Senor Rain. DRF has him listed as gelded.He\'s worked
3 times( 12/19, 12/26,12/31) since last racing 11/27. He\'s entered 1/7 @ Santa Anita. You had mentioned he may not race until end of january and to dismiss his
chances. What does this accelerated return suggest?
Thanks,

Check out the TG figs and pp\'s on Terrox,Jacks Legacy and La Festa E Dumani in the last at AQU today.
How are these horses permitted in the entry box?

....probably had a small pair:)
\"DRF has him listed as gelded.\"
Does DRF notate it as new gelding or just gelding? I have not used DRF in years so just wanted to know if they were better at reporting now.Anyone know how to figure out if it is a new gelding besides the track making an announcement in the morning.
You should take it as a positive sign...no one on this board can tell you otherwise...I\'m going to bet the horse just because you brought it up.

Alm,
And if I said I think the horse has no chance?
That the surgery went great and he recovered fast, and never looked back!
Well, it won\'t give him wings. If he was bangin\' \'em around and he was a bit painful or sore, that will improve obviously. If it was just surgical attitude adjustment, he should be feeling a bit of that by now. Be more able to concentrate on his job, not be a butthead.
Need to look at his race replays.
So, this horses last race (you can see them for free at Calracing.com) 2yr old stakes at Hollywood 11-27-11 race 5, he bolted to the outside. Just looks like he was uncontrollable.
His previous race, he went to the front, didn\'t seem to rate all that well, and couldn\'t hold on in the stretch, passed and finishing a close 3rd.
Appears could be an \"attitude adjustment\" move. But frankly, from looking at the horse physically, he looks like he\'d be best at 6-7 furlongs running on the lead.
Edit: and, it was:

Senor Rain first-time gelding for Sham
The Miller-trained Senor Rain is a candidate in Saturday's $100,000 Sham Stakes over a mile at Santa Anita.
Owned by Gary and Cecil Barber, Senor Rain did not finish the Grade 3 Generous Stakes over a mile on turf at Hollywood Park on Nov. 27, bearing out on the first turn, which resulted in him being pulled up. He has since been gelded.
"We gave him a little attitude adjustment," Miller said.
Senor Rain has won 2 of 7 starts and $73,416. In November, he was third behind Liaison and Rousing Sermon in the Real Quiet Stakes. Those two returned to finish one-two in the $750,000 CashCall Futurity at Hollywood Park on Dec. 17.
The list of probable starters for the Sham Stakes is led by Secret Circle, the winner of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint at Churchill Downs on Nov. 4. The one-mile Sham Stakes will be Secret Circle's first start beyond six furlongs.
Other candidates are Baby Blake, Hierro, Hodge, Longview Drive, Out of Bounds, and Spirit Rules.
Just saw an interview with Peter Miller on HRTV conducted by Millie Ball.
Miller said he was going to scratch Senor Rain tomorrow.
How are these horses permitted in the entry box?
Miff,
Gonna have to take this up with the secretary. Personally I don\'t mind seeing
overmatched individuals taking/giving money depending on the venue of course.Wasn\'t the case here though. It\'s any other day at the track many moons ago
and i\'m there with a friend. Well his dad trains and he\'s doing the figs/sheets.
We notice on his program \"UM\" written next to an individual in addition to the
# he\'s assigned to it.We ask what\'s um ? He says \"unsound management\".
Good luck,

Sighthound,
