Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah & a Happy and prosperous New Year to all.

Silver, I gotta love ya, Santa\'s hot cocoa isn\'t even cold yet and your on the Derby trail! It has to be a better bunch than last year\'s pack of RATS.

Richiebee I\'m suggesting we start an occupy the Carolina BBQ movement in July if King Charles and his clueless court are still around ?

Good luck and enjoy the holidays all,

Frank D.

PS   Rocky from Sports Haven if you see this shoot me a personal message. I\'m spending a bit of time in North Haven for business these days and would love to shoot over and say hello.

I thought Shackleford was both a good and durable Derby Trail participant.

At least next year we can be assured of 20 runner chaos with the
implementation of Derby also eligibles.

Frank: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Had a great time hanging out at the
Spa for a couple of weekends with you and the TG gang.

With regards to Clueless Charles Hayward, I look at it like a college football
program -- a couple of 6-6 seasons and/or a scandal and the coach is toast.
Hayward has had multiple scandals on his watch (weightgate, skimgate,
Paragallo, Dutrow) while presiding over a claiming/turf/sprint reliant racing
program which has gotten worse each year.

I was going through some old racing clutter the other day and found a program
dated August 9, 2003. The feature race on the 10 race card was the Sword Dancer
and there were only TWO maiden races (both open MSW 2YO, NYBs
allowed 3 pounds). The average 10 race weekend card at the Spa in the last
couple of years would likely feature 4 maiden races, two of which would be
restricted to NYBs.

And while I am in the neighborhood, how many NYRA graded stakes races have been
downgraded/degraded on Charles the Clown\'s watch?

Great men overcome obstacles. Charles Hayward and his apologists point to
these obstacles and use them as excuses.

Time for a change. A strong NYRA would be taking advantage of the
uncertainty at Monmouth. (To show how the landscape has changed, 5 years ago
Mth and probably the Meadowlands would already be Stronach properties).

Hayward has allowed downstate NYRA racing to run aground. He\'s got Saratoga
aimed at the sandbar. Stop the insanity.
