happy thanksgiving matey, and to all TG forumites. may your BC success carry over to this fine holiday weekend of racing. outstanding line-ups, all across the country, despite the Fall Highweight and Cigar Mile disappointments.

Stronach wanted to open GP this weekend, but the state decided we\'d all be better off with this lovely Calder product (which is actually pretty strong on Sat). no worries though, more than enough interesting races to handicap. GP opens Dec 3.

good luck folks.

Michael:

Yes the Cigar Mile is a bit disappointing, but the race, which had a purse of
500K or 600K in the 1990s is, alas, a 250K race now.

Got to save that money for the 7500 claimers. Speaking of which, look at the
first race on Saturday\'s card. The 9/5 favorite is 1/23 for 2010-2011; the 7/2
second fave is a 5YO with 7 lifetime starts. Next.

You are a pedigree guy, Michael, so I know you will be keeping a close eye on
Mott\'s firster by Giant\'s Causeway out of Sightseek.

Skip forward to race 6, the Demoiselle. The shortest price fillies occupy the
outside four stalls in this 9f, short run to the turn G2 stake. What to do
with Disposablepleasure, 2/1 ML with a TG # in a blowout maiden win which
makes her much faster than the competition? Looking for chaos here with
Bourbonstreetgirl, who has never tried the dirt in the afternoon but has two
bullet breezes on the Belmont training track.

Race 7, Remsen, will look for more chaos with Hamilton Smith\'s Done Talking
(15/1), who has a foundation edge on some of her faster rivals. Also with the
pedigree, Stephanoatsee is a half to Shackleford by AP Indy.

In the Gazelle, undefeated Awesome Feather will go off a short favorite
though she is not dominant in terms of TG numbers.Opportunity knocking?

NYRA apparently dropped the ball because according to DRF, there is not a P4
linking the four stake races.
