The fig for Afleet Again is more surprising than the result...is this what happens when you mix Kentucky Red with lasix with some other adjunct in just the right proportion?...I\'m just a simple cave man, worshipping at JB\'s altar(and will continue to do so), but just for the sake of heresy, in parentheses, I\'m going to raise the Marathon fig by two points giving the winner a still laudable 1 1/4, allowing Giant Oak to repeat last years fig with a 2 1/4 tu while suggesting that some of the others really didn\'t finish at 1 3/4 miles on a sticky surface...only for laughs while I wait to be struck down by lightning.

In the grand scheme of things it doesn\'t look adjusting the fig means too much down the road...probably a fool\'s errand...I prefer to play the pattern over the fig.
