Title: Woodward

Havre De Grace is going to bury these boys in the Woodward.  I don\'t think it\'s going to be pretty for them.

How good is Blind Luck?

Wrong question Boscar.  The transitive property of math doesn\'t work with horses.

As much as Blind Luck\'s win over Havre de Grace put her in the lead for the Eclipse award, today\'s extremely impressive win by Havre de Grace puts her back into the lead.

They split two races this year, with HVG winning by several lengths and Blind Luck winning by a nose.  HVG beating solid males today is the difference.

That doesn\'t mean Hollendorfer and company don\'t get the chance to move back ahead later.

Today\'s win was very legit.  Track wasn\'t particularly fast today, so 1:49 is race horse time.  Flat Out came in off two negative numbers, including one earned on a dead rail, so he is as good as it gets for competition this year, outside of Tizway.

Not criticizing Ramon, but it does seem like HVD consistently is wide on all turns in her races.  Ramon is one of the best at saving ground, but today was another 3w/2w trip, after a 3w/3w in a short field.  She could have a shot in the Classic if she actually got a ground saving trip.

$6.50 was theft on that horse.    Was easily a legit even money shot IMO.

Lofty 111 Beyer puts HDG and FO in the neg -3 TG range,if JB agrees, a bit much imo.

Very sharp race by winner chasing live splits wide into both turns.Except for Tizway, older male division common,HDG and BL just as fast as any.

Jim, appears HDG off the fence in all her races by design. Ramon had no shot to save ground at any point yesterday because of the way the race unfolded.

Jones said after the race that he just wanted his filly out of trouble. Said it a number of times.

Looks like wide was indeed by design.

Quite often you will hear that when they believe they are best and not wanting to take a chance getting stopped along the inside.

Convocation took away any chance for HDG to angle over into the first turn along with Rule who floated the field a little.
