Field of 10 (9 wagering interests) scheduled to go here. Only 1 Graded SW in the
field, but an intriguing event nevertheless.
The GSW is Baffert/Zayat\'s AZ Warrior (6/1), winner of the GR 1 Frizette at
Belmont. She followed that with a trroubled last place finish in the BC Juvie
Fillies, and then made her 3YO debut in the SA Oaks in March, where she was well
beaten by 2 nice fillies. Have no idea why Baffert did not work her over the
track, but BB was elected to the Racing Hall of Fame and I have to pay to get in.
The fastest filly is Tony Dutrow\'s Jealous Girl (3/1). She has run TG numbers
which put her lengths ahead of most of this field, but those numbers were posted
at Delaware and Penn. A good test of the strength of the Kool Aid, no? (In this
ones maiden win at Parx, the DRF comment was \"Speed to Spare\", a comment which a
trackman once gave after one of Ruffian\'s wins). One of many who wants the lead
here.
One filly who has shown some stalking ability in some of her races is Funny Sunny,
(6/1) the only runner who has posted a number in the neighborhood of the Dutrow
runner. FS is a head short of being undefeated in 4 lifetime starts, goes turf to
dirt, and gets in with 116 pounds (dont know if Kent D. makes that weight these
days). FS is a daughter of Sharp Humor, who stands for less than 7K. FS broke her
maiden convincingly at Hoosier Park, and then was sent to the Kee November sale
where she was sold for $380,000. Relaunch is the dam sire which should move this
one up if there is moisture in the track.
Team Valour\'s Valiant Passion (7/2) has had 2 open length wins at the Spa under
Leparoux. She is arguably not as fast as JG or FS, but her two very easy works
after her July 22 Spa win lead me to believe she has a solid Fair Hill foundation
and should go forward in her second race as a 3YO.
At the morning line odds, will definitely be using AZ Warrior and Funny Sunny,
both 6/1, to kick off the P4. Will be very interested to see how strongly the
public feels abot the Dutrow runner, who has been favored in 4 LT starts against
lesser competition.

Bee,
Fwiw, Jealous Girl, fastest on TG, is fastest on other credible fig maker data, therefore not a good test of the strength of the Kool Aid. Dynamics wise, she faces classier gas in here.
good luck(hope Staten Island does not float out into the Atlantic!)

That was great Richie! I needed a good laugh after having to cancel my trip and all because of some chick named Irene.
