I\'d like some opinions on how you like Blind Luck and Havre de Grace in their possible match-ups against the boys.
I like BL\'s running style better as I like a female against boys to either be a speedster or a closer, not running eyeball to eyeball at pretty good speed with boys all around the track (and at a route). But I think BL is better on dirt than synthetics.
I think HDG has the talent to beat anyone out there. Think she possesses the best figures of all out there and she runs those figures consistently. But she\'s going to go eyeball to eyeball with bigger males and while she\'s no little thing, she\'s quite pretty and feminine.
Thoughts? If you like one or both in these spots, do you similarly like them for the Classic?
MAles are not that good this year, as i\'m not sold on Tizway, so I definitely think Blind luck has a big chance at the classic\'s distance, especially with Garrett aboard. I don\'t think Havre De Grace can beat BL at the classic\'s distance..
I think if they do run against the Males it adds some spice to a Racing Season that could use a little!
The Breeders Cup could use a little boost besides come watch a bunch of European Turf horses kick our Tale! The 3YO Division doesnt have any NAMES! People know where I stand on my affinity for Blind Luck. There is nothing guaranteed that if shes runs in the Pac Classic she would win. Her last 3 wins have been by a length or less against Fillys.
But she will fire! And she will step outside the box. And racing needs to applaud that a little more because its what the fans come to see.....
Both of these fillies struggle to hold the lead or get the lead running against fillies. Why would they be more effective against colts?
I\'m not saying they are not terrific, but the way Tizway is being handled this year as opposed to last year, he may not feel any competition from them. He\'s probably faster overall than either of them. I think his numbers show that, no?

To my knowledge, no. I\'m pretty sure that HDG holds the best figure this year for 1 1/4 miles, followed closely by BL.
Not sure who you\'ve seen these two struggle against (at least as you state it, which is that it\'s the \"norm\" for them to struggle and barely win)?
Hollendorfer giving her a break.
Prep in the Ladies Secret in October, then the Ladies\' Classic.
That would be a smart move.
