Tentatively, we\'re shooting to play the Spa course again on Friday 8/19. Anyone interested can shoot me an email.

I have only been a sheet user and on this board for less than a year, can you elaborate what this is?

Because \"Shit!\" is impolite.

(And no, it\'s not an acronym for \"Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden\"...and while we are at it, the phrases \"For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge\" and \"Cannot Understand Normal Thinking\" did not result in acronyms, no matter how well they might apply.)

Rick,

Never heard of the second one, I\'m still laughing. Priceless.

I can see this thread taking on a life of its own.

Because \"@#$%&!\" is impolite.

Close,but it\'s because F%!& and Sh#! were already taken.Nevere heard the acronyms,
but they\'re catchy.Speaking of: FORD=\" found on roadside dead\",and if said backwards it\'s \"Driver returns on foot\".

It\'s an open company golf tournament, for NW\'s of anything.  Most of last year\'s participants should be running for a tag.  First prize is either $10,000 or a Thorograph baseball cap, depending on whether or not TGJB wins.  I played last year and had a very good time, meeting some delightful people and got a new hat.  Golf skill is of little consequence.

\"Most of last year\'s participants should be running for a tag\"

\"Most\"? Where should the others be running? Off to an Old Friends sunset?

Sadly, I won\'t be able to make it up there to spit the bit down the stretch again. I remember that P-Dub seems to run well fresh, but I\'m not sure he would ship 3,000 miles for a TG hat. I\'ll wait to see the entries before I make my pick, but I\'ll tell you one thing ... if there is a certain Maryland shipper entered ... WATCH OUT!!!

Correct except for the tournament part. Does anyone even remember what they shot last year? And do they want to?

Comes from Dutch word KOLF which was originally played on ice skates.

I remember moose beat me by a couple shots. I also remember your 325 yard drive ... and the six or seven chips and putts that followed.

I note everything has been adjusted for inflation.

the 19th ???.....I\'ve been wanting to play golf with you guys for some time. Coming up Closing weekend again with the sticks and staying at the Sagamore (Donald Ross Course there), since my wife can\'t stop getting hurt when we stay in the SPA City.

Been playing lots of golf and very little ponies here lately. Events of the past few years have soured me towards racing, so hoping coming up with a clear mind, no biases, will be be the ticket this time around. Last year was disaster (Wife breaks leg in hotel !!).

I will look for some Hotel arrangements and try to get up there to play golf and ponies for a weekend, sort of a prep. Heard they took away my old area where we stayed on track. Have to find a new hang out (Probably the QUE for NC).

Get back to you shortly on the weekend of 19th.

Those who gave me tentative yesses need to firm up with me, I need a head count to make tee times.

N.C.Tony, you can play with us, but you have to play the tips (which is looooongggg at this one), and you\'re not allowed to break 80.
