Title: How fast was the Jim Dandy?
Post by: phil23 on August 01, 2011, 08:01:06 AM
DRF still has not posted the Beyer yet (as of 11am Mon.).  Andy Serling said yesterday that Beyer wanted to watch a couple of races from...Sunday???...to check some things.  Rumours floating around that the number is around 106.

So I ask, how fast do we think this race was?  Especially wrt how fast (or not) the Haskel was?  Some ground loss for the winner there certainly but 96 straight up doesn\'t seem that quick.

Beyer problems with SPA routes for a couple of years.Raw was coming up painfully slow vs track speed on a couple of big days last year.

Surprising jump up in a fast race by Moonshine Mullin a problem also.Much the best winner Stay Thirsty\'s gets a Beyer top and a TG top esp with the wide trip.
