Any ideas??
Don\'t know yet.
Won\'t be a Saturday race, either Sun or Mon.
Have a good and safe holiday weekend everyone!!
Silver:
EVERY weekend should be treated like a Holiday.
I\'ll take a page from your book and pronounce Saturday a grea...er... good day of
racing.
A very competitive UN at Mth and a late P4 at Bel devoid of Maidens or 10K
claimers.
Decennial #7 nailed Lemon Drop on Top #2 at about the 8th pole, no inquiry, no objection. What the hell are the stewards looking at. I did not bet the race. Dominguez deserved a foul and DQ. He looked like Angel.
I did bet the 2 there...can\'t believe no inquiry either! Over it now :(
In the UN, I will toss the two favorites Chincon/Bourbon Bay and go to go back to the exacta from the Monmouth Stakes 3 weeks ago Teaks North/Sleepless Knight. Hall/Breen barn is on fire w/ 61% tops and pairs the last 90 days and Teaks North always runs well at Monmouth and should get a good set up here. Expect both to pair tops. Will use Bold Hawk (who finally gets firm ground) and the French mare with the two mentioned.

Nice call, Monmouth Guy....I hooked your four with three in the previous stakes....can never throw Asmussen out of a horizontal bet...hit a very nice double thanks to you.
Anybody that tries to run with Roman Treasure won\'t be around for the photo. QM will need to have her best stuff to wire this field.
You have to like Her Smile today. Light weight on the rail behind what should be a great pace to run at. I also believed this horse was going to be a better sprinter than router so with the cut back in distance I have to play. Will also play QM and Baffert shipping in my P4\'s as a saver but key on Her Smile.
Happy 4th everyone..
Only problem with Her Smile is that everybody else in the field has ran faster than her.
Among everyone else it is who is least likely to react.
I think Roman Treasure is the one to beat.
Hey Sek,
I\'m thinking she didn\'t get to show that she improved from last year because she has been running long. TG sire profile expects a 4 point jump 2 to 3, not to mention the pletcher takeover although it also says she should like routing better also. She just seems like a horse that does not want to go long as she loses her punch down the lane. That along with the pace scenario, the weight and the price makes me jump on it.
Ughh..he\'s half the price I thought he would be.
7/1 in a 6 horse field, we\'ll take it. Was on it too, nice selection LC.
Thanks P-dub..
got some p3\'s and P4\'s closing out ..mostly with the 1..we\'ll see.
Jerry,
Per the ROTW comments..What made you guys stay in the race since nothing changed as far as horses running? The ROTW comments almost made me hold off on playing her as it seemed like you just didn\'t like her against the others that showed up.
I was trying to get them to scratch this afternoon. Pletcher thought there would be a burn-out pace and the race would collapse, fortunately Bobby listened to him, not me. What do I know.
Won\'t stop me from cashing the check, though...
LOL, there are so mant things I could say here but its moment of celebration for everyone....and sometimes the fun comments get misintepreted
Congrats Again to ALL you guys!!
Congrats JB.
How did you and Flay hook up?? Does he come to you for most of his purchases? Just wondering.
Again, congrats for yet another nice acquisition.
Flay is a buddy of Barry Weisbord, who I\'ve been friends with and doing business with for a long time. Barry\'s son Brad advises Bobby. Brad has been using our data since he could read. Not kidding about that.
First met Flay (who was accompanied by Barry W.) at a Louisville restaurant/bar late one Derby-week evening . . . back in \'03, IIRC. Barry and I have at least one strong mutual friend, and Flay was wholly enthusiastic about his thoroughbred ventures to come. Glad to see he\'s doing well.
Ain\'t this a funny game?
