Title: Home Page

You have no idea how it pains me to see the analysis of Great Notion on your front page. If only the stretch was 20 yards shorter. Horses like Valid Video are horses I usually play against, and that was the case on Saturday as well. I spread very deep in the 9th, a few deep in the Travers and 3 deep in the 8th, so I wasn\'t looking for any more than 3-4 horses in the King\'s Bishop.

Between getting DQ\'d out of a pk4 a couple of weeks ago, and now this, the variance swings are getting tough. And to make matter worse, I went and watched the replay stream on nyra.com a few times. A $19 horse and a $35 horse defeating two heavy favorites...Boxcars!

Am I venting, of course? We all do. I\'m going to have to take a break for fear of \"going on tilt\".

Good luck to you all.

It\'s a tough game and that is never more evident than when you are trying to tackle Saratoga. But we love the mental challenge and that\'s why we keep coming back for more.

Title: Bon Lil

Well it is indeed tough at the Spa. I had Bon Lil at 57-1 to win and in exactas and Tris to the horses that picked up the pieces after he bounced off the rail and unseated Fragoso.

Bet that whole card after attending one of Hardoon\'s seminars (in which he said Bon Lil had \"sneaky good\" turf breeding) only to read about it in the paper the next day.

By the way, I\'d love to see Thorograph for the Alabama. I had a very positive read on the winner off of Ragozin even tho\' I assumed they had the Delaware race too slow.

I put up the winner in the Alabama in our analysis as a win bet. We\'re attaching the sheets for the race with the numbers they ran, and as you can see the first 3 basically paired up their top or last number.

TGJB--

Thanks for posting with ALABAMA #\'s. I would be quite interested in HALORY LEIGH in the one turn Gazelle at Belmont. I wonder what connections\' plans are.

Thanks for posting those sheets. The Alabama winner looked terrific on Thorograph.

It\'s funny, though. On Rags, and I\'m going by recollection here, Island Fashion had a similar line, pairing 8\'s where you have the 4.2 and 5 and Rags had the delaware race at a 10. Off of THAT line -- I excused the 10 because it was a runaway and I also suspected it was too slow -- I figured the horse would jump up to maybe a 6 and therefore bet with both hands at 9/1.

It goes to show how subjective all of this is.
