I know it\'s Preakness week and everyone is fired up about the Preakness and black eyed susan, but I just made a bet at Churchill on a horse (bella medaglia ) that stood in the gate with the tote board still flashing 2 to 1 and during the running of the race it flashed even money and pays $4.00. I got Robbed

Nah. You got TG\'d, if anything.
Bella Medaglia was the TG Analysis selection in race 7, a six horse field where only one other horse figured. $4.00 is about right, although lately this kind has been paying about $3.00
This is why most pros will advise you to refrain from betting short priced horses-- at 2-1, you leave yourself with little margin if the late money should come in on your horse. At least you got paid *something* -- how dumb would you have felt holding a ticket on an even money horse if Bella Medaglia lost?
Shoot for better odds: two races earlier, TG recommended a win bet on Shot of Kela, and she paid a nifty $30.00 to win. Prices are out there -- you just have to be patient.
LMAO when I saw this...\"You got TG\'d\"...I have to confess that I have been TG\'d many times....
This is a situation that happens all the time. A horse who is destined to be even money (fair price) is sitting there at 2-1 with 0 MTP and everyone gets the same idea and wallah, even money. Now, if the horse was a fair price at 2-1 and got bet to even money, than you have a little more beef to complain. From what Rick said, it seems like this was a legit 1-1 shot, so, you got what you figured to get...its your fault for getting \'teased\' at an unrealistic price in the first place.
If you looked at the probable pick 3 payouts he was 1/2 the price of the listed 7/5 shot, the 7 horse in the race.
I too was a bit dismayed with the 4-3 exacta only paying $ 17.80
Good luck,

Yep. It\'s past posting. Been happening way more than normal the last few months. The fix is in! LOL
