Title: A step in the right direction - extensive testing for graded stakes
Post by: derby1592 on July 01, 2003, 05:56:01 PM
Next year all Graded Stakes races will have to follow a new post-race testing protocal that calls for testing for approximately 140 drugs.

They plan to pilot the testing this fall in grades stakes at three racetracks: Belmont Park in New York, Keeneland Racecourse in Kentucky, and the Oak Tree meet at Santa Anita in Southern California.

It will be interesting to see who ducks these races and if there are any strange form reversals for those that do enter.

Better late than never...

Cheers.
