Title: Scratches and Post Position in the Derby
Post by: dlf on May 05, 2011, 11:06:47 AM
If there is a scratch or two, will the inner horses move out, or will the outer horses move in? If it is the former, it could really help AAA.
Does anyone know the answer? Miff?

Normally, everyone on the outside, moves in. It makes an awful lot of sense that because of the unique gate placement for the derby, that they would move AAA out one stall, which means the clueless clowns probably won\'t.

Remember, the first 3 positions all run dead into the rail after the break and all three will have to angle right while the other 17 are angling left.Beating this to death all over TV and the blogs, which means AAA WHISTLES WITH A PERFECT TRIP!!
Good Luck
