Fingers crossed for a fast track!
Even so, the rains have substantially affected the works, so I\'m not sure how much credibility you put in a bad work over a sloppy track or vice-versa??? Or even how certain horses have been affected by training over sloppy tracks. Anyone have any thoughts???
I guess my gut feeling is not to worry that much about works either way, though I think the horses coming off longer layoffs might be impacted more than those who raced in the later preps. Would think the works slightly more important for a Mucho Macho Man or Dialed-In and a few others whose prep races fell earlier in the season.
In any event,if it does rain, I might look at Brilliant Speed more closely; apparently, according to the clockers I\'ve surveyed, he is more duck than horse!
