JB,
Some time ago you did a survey asking several questions. One of the questions you asked was, what info do you use to handicap? I was just curious as to what other people or even you may use in conjunction with TG reports. Do you or anyone use just TG or do you combine it with other info-DRF pp\'s, bris pp\'s, etc? Also what info do you take to the track? I take both Bris pp\'s and TG in a binder but this can be a little cumbersome and sometimes I get \"info overload.\" JB, were you going to release the survey results or was this for your info?
For our own info. The results wouldn\'t be of much use to anyone else, but maybe somewhere down the line I\'ll talk to Paul about publishing the results.
I first directed the question to JB to see what info he had re: what people used in their handicapping process and what his survey had to say about that. I was just curious as to what other info TG users consulted. Do you consult just TG when handicapping or do you use other pp\'s h-capping info? I am looking for some guidance as I use both bris pp\'s with TG and have done so for for the last year and a half. I am finding that the amount of pages that I print has become too cumbersome to carry around while at the track (I have been using the thoroquick lately), plus I feel that I have been getting \"info overload\" when it comes to the h-capping process. Any help or info anyone would like to share would be appreciated.

Why do you care what everyone else does. Do what works for you. Personally, I use the print edition of the DRF along with TG. I find the print edition to be less cumbersome and easier to use than the on-line pps.

Sam,
I use PP info and the sheets but I know of others that use the sheets only and some that use some pretty sophisticated pace analysis, etc. along with the sheets and all are pretty successful. It all depends on what you are comfortable with. Sometimes more data does not necessarily mean more information. (Here I am using the defninition that information \"reduces uncertainty.\")
Also note that often 2 experienced sheet users can come up with very different opinions on the same race so there are a lot of different ways to use and interpret the sheets even if that is all you are using.
Good luck.
