Title: Meat and potato
Post by: Catman Millio on June 10, 2003, 10:46:50 AM
Stakes, forgetaboutit, it is the "meat and potato" races we depend on.  I am guessing LF's methodology will get the variants wrong for AP week of June 4 through June 8, because of the changing weather and track maintenance.  I am already looking forward to when certain horses run back, because Len and the gang will either have them too fast or too slow.   And I am not telling what day(s) will cause the error, because I do not want to tip LF off too much..  I am extremely confident Jerry will get it right. I enjoy those smoother lines.

Best wishes:

Personally, I would be more interested in seeing what he did with Belmont day-- showers first 2 races, raining harder from then on, track harrowed for the third, sealed before the fourth and the rest of the way (with water in it), one two turn race on the card (with only 6 horses), grass courses (plural) taking a pounding and getting MUCH slower as the day went on. But we won\'t get to see it posted as a whole day, as they used to do-- for some reason LF has gotten a little defensive about that.

I see that Stockton is about to open.I wonder if any any TG users out there ,have any comments as far as success they\'ve had playing the California Fair circuit.I normally don\'t play those tracks but I notice that Hollywood Park has had some pretty week Wed. and Thurs. cards.
