Title: hmmm...Gomez @ 45:1 - has that ever happened before?
Post by: shanahan on March 12, 2011, 08:38:12 PM
just looking at SA results.  Gomez\'s mount goes off at these high odds?  I can\'t remember that happening with a top 5 jock in the USA, but I guess it does occasionally.  Thinking that his agent is not an idiot, so how did that get past us?

He was EXTREMELY slow in that 6 horse race and most of the players on this board bet horses not jockeys.

If you knew the Baffert would break down, the Sadler would struggle extremely badly to get the distance, St. Trinian\'s can\'t run on dirt, and the other longshots wouldn\'t fire, you could bet on Gomez here.....

45-1 in a six horse field and not even the longest shot on the board (there was a 48-1 shot).
