This one has got bounce written all over him?
What about Travelin Man the race before?
Yes, they both project to bounce, but how much? Used to be when young ones ran this big, we could expect a big bounce, depending on the amount of time since the effort, the previous top and line that led to it. That may be what happens, Machen, a current example, bounced over 9 points but he came back on 28 days rest. Travelin Man has 51 days since his debut and Soldat 36 days since his last. The latter is off a big jump whereas Ricky Nelson exploded right out of the gate and trainer Pletcher seems well aware of that. The point is while they both enter off the same top, they got to it differently and the time off is also markedly different. The question above remains as to their respective chances and that makes both the Hutch and FOY real tricky to handicap confidently which frankly is why we didn\'t choose either for the ROTW.
I think one could use both horses as case studies since 3yos in the future at some point are likely to show similar lines and simultaneously raise goosebumps and consternation.
FWIW I\'m not hearing good things on Soldat. This horse may not run well....that\'s all I will say!
Mig just interviewed Kiaran who said Soldat is training great and will go for the lead. Shackelford the sleeper.
So much for that info! What can I say.:(
I\'m very eager to see where To Honor And Serve is sitting in the futures after this race. Well Done Bill Mott.

I\'d say you should reveal your sources and embarrass them profusely, then insist that they only handicap professional wrestling from now on; they deserve nothing less.
All I can say is when one of the guys took off and got in the winners circle after the race (true) I briefly considered I had been jobbed!

What a dirty prick. Did he end up with sugar in his gas tank after the races?
Rick whatever the World Record for getting bad information is I\'m on pace to break it!
There was time when we were getting some quality stuff, now I\'m like Pac Man Jones making it rain except the people taking my money aren\'t Topless Woman!
Interesting that T Pletch was in the Paddock for FOY but with NO Horse. Everybody is watching everybody now I guess.
Sorry about that. I\'m just messin\' with you.
Do what I do when someone tries to tout you: tell them, \"No thanks -- I can pick my *own* losers\".
FWIW, I was told Tapits Fly needed his last and should run Big tomorrow.....the beat goes on!
