In your analysis of Seniors Pride you state that with relatively short rest he is more likely to bounce this time. I understand the relationship between rest duration and the likelihood of a bounce. But with Seniors Pride his previous tops have both come with 3 weeks rest, the same that he gets this time. Do you ever take previous experience with \"short rest\" into consideration when you assess the likelihood of a bounce with a horse like this?
Those previous tops on short rest didn\'t come off tops or near tops. Rest following an effort and rest following a non-effort are two different things.
I wish that exchange happened prior to the race, I had the same thought as Jim on this. Great call on the ROTW.
