I always thought The Sheets were a tool best used in the Fall - horses hitting on all cylinders, pointing for Fall stakes, etc.
Is it just me or have the numbers been dynamite this Spring!!
Has it been the same for the Thorograph product?
You\'re a riot- and so subtle, too. I can\'t imagine why anyone wouldn\'t take your words at face value.
Thanks Jer,
Trying to get some honest discussion going and thought the TG players would share some good experiences, but so far, nada.
Surprising since the The Sheets have had such a great Spring.
Seems like people are more concerned with posting stingers on boards than making money here.
An honest discussion about what? Your questions and or statements may be just a little too vague to get any useful responses. As far as your original questions IMO figures are a useful tool all year long not just the fall. I don\'t have a clue what you mean by \"The numbers being dynamite this spring\". Again numbers are a tool to be used as part of handicapping and it still takes someone who understands not only what they are looking at but how impoprtant is a specific piece of information in relation to a specific race and then how do you wager appropriatly to maximize your investment. Ask some specific questions and maybe more people will respond.
I thought I was pretty clear in my comment - my experience has been that the Sheets are best used in the Fall. That doesn\'t mean they aren\'t good at other times. If you don\'t agree that they are a better tool at certain times of the year, then I appreciate hearing that too - we all have opinions.
They just seem especially good this Spring and I was wondering if others were having the same good fortune. What I mean by that is that the horses have been particularly \"formful\" and traditional patterns seem to be holding better this Spring.
I thought Jerry might enjoy a general discussion about the Sheets and his product, but it seems he is more interested in bickering and slander - too bad.
Say something specific before a race. It\'s still spring, right? HP
Boy you have a low opinion of people\'s intelligence. Do you think anyone is going to take a vague \"the Sheets are doing great\" comment seriously, even if your previous posts hadn\'t revealed you as a die-hard partisan? And for that reason, I\'m going to let the \"slander\" crap go right on by.
My guess is that \"the Sheets\" are doing great this spring is some new development after years of suffering! ;-))
Ok you guys have worn me down. I tried to get a discussion going about how well things are going this spring - patterns, numbers, etc. - and no one is interested.
There seems to be little interest in anything but personal attacks - no wonder you are all so worried about censorship of your zingers on the Sheets board. Perhaps if I had attacked someone in my original post this thread would be flooded with responses. I guess Jerry\'s invitation to not be a stranger is as insincere as his knock-off product.
Go ahead and get your last jabs in - I won\'t bother to respond. I now view you as a complete waste of time. HP, Philip, hope to see you posting on the Sheets board, that is where I will post from now on (though I never have in the past).
Good luck - you\'ll need it.
Hey I\'m interested. I did not make any personal attack. If you\'re doing so well, let us in on it and give us an example. Pick a race and show us. I\'m holding my breath starting...now. Ah, you probably won\'t want to kill your price, right?
I\'ve counted something like three sentences responding to you. If this is all it takes to \'wear you down\', you must be a real candyass (see, that\'s a personal attack, but this board is for the real men, the idiots who can take it).
If you\'re such a big winner with the Sheets, what are you wasting your time here for? When I win, I have a good time. You must be desperate for attention. Get a date and brag to her. You\'ll feel better. Works for me.
Nobody cares about censorship on the other board. If that\'s how they want to do things, it speaks for itself. HP
Well HP, I excluded you and Philip from my last post by saying that I hoped to see you on a board without so much venom.
In our first exchange I took everything tongue and cheek and can assure you I have a very thick skin. My hope was that Jerry was being sincere telling me not to be a stranger, but it ended up being otherwise.
My comment about the Sheets doing well this Spring was made in the vein of sparking TG stories of good fortune and a common theme of us doing well as horseplayers, not to brag about the Sheets or a race. I have no agenda. But I can see there is way too much partisanship here to have such a conversation.
Again, good luck to you.
Everyone I\'ve talked to lately using TG has been raking it in. Glad to hear you\'re doing well and continued good luck to you too. HP
And they\'re all ex-raggies that switched.
