The biggest race this weekend is the Delta Downs Jackpot
My apologies to the host (who i hope is feeling better) and those pros for the amateur analysis below of Delta Downs Jackpot.
1 1 Gourmet Dinner (FL) 2/C L S O Madrid 119 S W Standridge 6/1
Stretched out last time and backed up. Expecting a similar effort which won\'t hit the board.
2 2 Classic Legacy (FL) 2/C L J Talamo 117 B Baffert 6/1
Moved way too early in last, circling the field 6 wide and taking the lead before seemingly losing interest mid stretch to favorite, and then rebreaking too late. I loved his race. Thought it was much better than the favorites. Have to like the jockey/trainer change and addition of blinkers considering last. Contender.
3 3 Aces N Kings (TX) 2/G L C H Borel 119 H B Johnson, Jr. 12/1
Hasn\'t shown much improvement, and moved backwards in last when he should have gone forward. Do not expect him to contend.
4 4 Rush Now (KY) 2/C L R Albarado 119 A W Dutrow 9/2
Nice pattern for a 2YO, benefited from dream trip in last. I am always cautious of A. Dutrow shipping from Delaware, but he is on fire the last 90 days. Will be tracking Bug Juice, and get first run if that one slows down. Respect.
5 5 Clubhouse Ride (KY) 2/C L* P A Valenzuela 119 C A Lewis 10/1
Non-contender.
6 6 Bug Juice (NY) 2/G L J Castellano 119 B N Levine 8/1
Juice Levine 2YO ships to DED off two open lengths NY Bred sprint wins at FL and tries his luck around two turns. Clearly the fastest horse in the race (and maybe the fastest 2YO outside of the BC Juvy top 2), but Levine is terrible when he tries to stretch out sprinters (Over 50% X). However, this horse can back up 3-4 points around 2 turns and win. Probably a sprinter, but going to see if he can carry the lone speed against a slower field. All or nothing with this one, and I am drinking the Bug Kool-Aid.
7 7 Decisive Moment (FL) 2/C L K D Clark 117 J D Arias 20/1
Non-contender.
8 8 Blue Laser (KY) 2/C L S Bridgmohan 122 M E Casse 3/1
I think this is a bad favorite. 5W6W in last flatters him and thought Classic legacy was much the best despite the #. Expect bounce off 6 point top. I will try to beat.
9 9 Sweet Ducky (KY) 2/C L J Bravo 119 K J Breen 4/1
Healthy forward moving pattern. Moved forward in last after pairing his top. Expect him to run well.
10 10 Dreamsrunwild (LA) 2/C L I V Diego 119 S Duke 20/1

Bug Juice is my key. When I get a horse at 8-1 who is the fastest horse in the race by 4 points and who hasn\'t moved backwards yet, I have to use. Will use with Classic Legacy, Rush Now and Sweet Ducky. Will also box three underneath horses as a saver in case Juice doesn\'t ship well.
