Jerry you have been involved is buys and sales of horses. Sydney was held out of the Oak Tree Mile because of an impending sale and now here we are 12 days from the biggest race of this horses Turf career and still no Sale. And obviously no Prep.
Shouldnt there be some sort of \"deposit\" of fee involved here for all of the Due Diligence. Maybe not but they cost these guys some decent money by him being withheld form his prep and and I think even more money in the BC because he got no prep. I just dont like his chances based on conditioning.
Speaking of conditioning a Big Finish by Lookin at Lucky in his work. Count what he did in the Indiana Derby and I think you can see where Bob Baffert is going to want him coming from.
Same place as Zenyatta and Blame........
You are making a lot of assumptions-- like there actually was a sale, that a prep is better, that if there was a deal they backed out for no reason...
There was not a sale! That isn\'t an assumption but a fact.
This pending Sale was reported by the DRF and TVG. Soooooo......what do I believe?
A Prep would have been better is a personal handicapping assumption. Sadler is not proven enough in this category or class level to be laying horses up, when they would have been 3-5 in a $200K race because he thinks the spot in this $1M race is easier with extra rest.
Man the Giants won last nite, easily covered so I figured we would all be in a better mood today!
Sadler said he expects it everyday but it hasn\'t happened yet and he has no information.
