Great to discuss the BC races in advance but the turf races are tough to handicap
without knowing the turf condition. Much easier to assume that even given
precipitation on race day, the main track at CD will be fast for the BC races.
Speaking of main tracks, DRF says the de-mattressization of Santa Anita is at
hand. Some people on this board are so vehemently opposed to synthetic racing
that there might be a demand for a 24 hour live feed of the restoration of the
dirt surface at SA. Del Mar next?
Yes the BC is in 3+ weeks, but I am having fun with the preps/WAYI races. This
week at Kee, the QEII featuring Evening Jewel, Richiebee\'s vote for 3YO Filly of
the Year, vs Check the Label, currently on a four race win streak. Not nearly as
qualified (and a much higher price) is La Cloche, who seems to be a bit of a late
bloomer when compared to her precocious sister, Winter Memories.
Was extremely bored Monday, checked out the Rag Board. Chuckles the Cube, as he
always is before the Derby and the BC, is in a full blather mode. Amazing what
the man is able to post as knowledge, so long as he remembers to take at least
one shot a week at the Varick Street gang in exchange for Len\'s tolerance.
Ritchie I miss Chuckles the Clown. Alydar is gone too. Hey the return of nyc90210 would be nice.
Hey even I have become boring!
Interesting that the only Big Races people get excited about at Keeneland anymore are on the Grass. This is what Plastic Racing has done to their Product.
The Stall 2YO who won on Saturday would be an interesting sort if he wins BC Day. Granted this would mean he beats Uncle Month....but a first timer who routes on grass at the Spa for a win, follows up at Keeneland on the Plastic in a Graded Stake and wins, and then follows that up with a Grade One win on dirt might be a what?
If Stall is wise he should run in the BC Juvy Turf. If Mo stubs his toe he might back into the Eclipse!

I would affirm that Alydar\'s absence has left a void here. His posts were truly rich with insight and wit.
too funny richiebee - \"Chucky don\'t surf \" ! BC-BK dreaming here but with Z\'s synth pattern , I\'d really love to see her campaign on the sod ...
Richie-- yeah, CTC is proving once again that he would set himself on fire if it would get him some attention, with every post really about him (please be impressed, please please please...). I love that he\'s at eye level with the pros as a figure maker (\"I have it about a 3\"). Maybe I should hire him.
