Is he ready to fire. I need to get ready for the Breeder\'s Cup. Good luck.
Perraguax in the 11th at Keeneland looks ready. Associate in the 7th at Belmont on Sunday looks good if the 11 hole doen\'t cost him. Both overcame a speed bias in their last races to finish in nearly a dead heat for second.
Hey Hotspringskid,
Its really tough for me to say how realistic CK\'s chances are today.
On one hand, if he gets through that hole in the last race he either wins or is right there with the others at the wire who are among the favorites in this race. On that front, he certainly belongs in here. His running line from the last race is comical. Checked 1/4, checked again 1/8, hit hedge. He had all kind of trouble and he still galloped out with the winner of the race.
On the other hand, he\'s never actually run a number that makes him competitive here and given that I am a numbers person, it\'s hard for me to see around that fact.
I can tell you physically, the horse is doing incredibly well and we drew a great post so I think we are in with a puncher\'s chance but I would lying if I told you it was anymore than that.
good luck
Thanks for the insight Jim. Brutal trip indeed the last race. Not sure what Hill was thinking trying to squeeze through in the stretch.
Any thoughts on Screenplay in the last?
almost and 30-1 plus
another great call on the race of the week, cha-ching.....
Tough beat on a perfect trip covelj. Place and show got me a good start on a breeders cup stake. Thanks for the info. Good luck next time .
Thanks man. No complaints from me at all. Feel like he justified our view that he\'s a really good horse. That said, we had everything our way today. Racing gods gave us something back after that brutal deal last time.
Hollylwood Derby is next target. Horse will go all day so the mile and the quarter is what we have been pointing for all along. Just glad he gave us a reason to send him today.
Sorry I didn\'t see the question about screenplay earlier. I liked him a lot today, especially at that price.
With my 2 paying such big prices and TG nutting the race of the week, today was a hell of a day.
Thanks all
Wow, nice effort , and you may have been on the worst part of the track. Middle of the course seemed better.
Noting that the winner , if you can believe the clock, might have come home in 11 flat. If not for that you\'d have been unsaddled.
