I wonder was it Baffert\'s plan or Martin Garcia\'s idea to strangle the lone speed Alienation into complete submission in yesterday\'s Oak Leaf? That ride belongs in the all time hall of fame of horrors. Almost everything won on the front end yesterday and Alienation\'s brilliant speed was a non-issue thanks to Garcia - I really think he is so overrated by the way. Sad thing is I didn\'t really like Tell A Kelly, even though she just missed, I was taking a stand against her and would have cashed mightily in the Pick-4 had she ran. Anyone know Baffert or hear what his thoughts were? Too bad Baffert hates P-Val, he would really fit that filly in the Breeder\'s Cup. I still think that filly has a world of talent, but taking away her best weapon was not the way to go. On the positive side, a horse I love Champ Pegasus seemed to take a big step forward yesterday. I\'m curious to see if Mandella will try him in the Breeder\'s Cup Turf. He\'s a beautiful mover!
