Richie,
I\'ve been looking for some opportunities on turf horses that went against the grain the last week of July when the turf courses were so speed favoring per your post right after you were up here.
Today there are a couple, Race 4 House of Grace & Race 8 Khancord Kid are both coming out of the Lake George on July 28th. Which happens to be one of the few turf races that collapsed for the vultures in that week.It was a suicidal pace between Strike It Rich and a 36/1 bomb in 23.65, 47.76 and 1:11.75 eye ball to eye ball before Roger Attfield and the Woodbine contingent picked up the pieces and ran 1,2,3.
House of Grace is 5/1 ml but we won\'t see that on the 3rd place finisher behind Tapitsfly & Rose Catherine in the BC juvenile turf, she broke her maiden up here last year and 3rd of the bench for bin Suroor moving very forward.
Khancord Kid is another story ! Forward moving 3yr. old, 2nd off for Kimmel and happens to be in the same heat of the split stake as the human interest story Lisa\'s Booby Trap. A bit of price revenge here as LBT was an 0-2-X last time with a 12/1 morning line until the TV and newspapers played to death the reincarnated wife story of the trainer and horse that knocked her down to 3/2 !!!!
Race 9 for Khancord Kid
Hey Frank, I like Khancord Kid as well and will use as second half of double to try and get some value from lead pipe cinch Platinumplus. Aso playing the well intended English Ivy in the 5th.
Doc,
We\'ll see Platinumplus looks tough to beat on paper but there was no movement in the 4th race ? The 40/1 quit and the 5 and 9 sat right off him the whole way. I\'m hoping it\'s not a turf speedway again we\'ll see as 5 of the last 6 races are on turf ?
Loving Marseria here at 8/1 ML.. 1st Lasix. Think this one runs superb imo. Good Luck!
Frank:
\"I\'d like to thank everyone who made this day necessary\"
Whats the weather supposed to be like up there Fri/Sat?
Yogi, I mean Richie !
First off let me apologize for not picking a winner in your honor. But then again the weekend I met you and Jimbo none of us cashed a ticket so I feel exonerated.
Friday looks great but we\'ll start getting some hurricane back lash for Saturday and Sunday. There already saying the weekend will be very breezy and when and how much rain depends on Earl turning right or left.
So we\'ll put the pressure on JB to bail us out. I\'m still only one bet away from turning the meet into a profit but yesterday and today were puzzles for me.
Come on up !!!
