Title: RUDY
Post by: sooti on August 03, 2010, 04:58:00 PM
I rarely post.  Is there a plausible explanation for Rudy Rodriguez\'s absolute transformation of horses?  Nearly every horse runs tops and then pairs.  How could a 3% rider become a 35% trainer?  How does one bet?  I wonder if he is not being scrutinized because his \'success\' as a trainer is such a great story compared to his failures as a rider.  Or maybe he is being looked at and I just don\'t know

With the poor riding record and much time on his hands im sure he picked up a whole lot of information over time while working alongside Tricky Dicky.

Tricky Dickey was hanging out at the secretariat bar all day Sunday. Betting with both fists......one of his flunkey\'s walks up and hands him a Grand and said thanks...I just hit $10G on the exacta...here bet this on the the next race....He was drinking like a fish.....and looks like he may explode at any minute....FWIW.

If it wasn\'t for hitting one of the stakes races @ Monmouth really nicely, I almost pitched a Spa Shutout myself.....but like ya\'all said a bad day at the spa beats a good kick in the head....

RudyRod has as one of his principal owners James Riccio.

Riccio employed at one time or another all 3 of the \"Holy Trinity\" of NY
supertrainers from the 1980s -- Oscar, The Pistol and The Gas Man.

Riccio also employed Tricky Rick and Juan Serey.

Hay oats and water men need not apply?

TGAB, in Saturday\'s seminar, noted caustically that RRod \"runs his horses where
they belong.\"

How about this theory that I\'ve heard.  Rudy is a front for tricky...he\'s trying out what works and what doesnt...(not just hay and oats) and if he gets caught..oh well...so he gets suspended and can\'t train again..oh well...who really loses?

Yes, but only until he returns to Notre Dame for the fall semester.

Good Luck,

If it wasn\'t so obvious it would be funny.

NYRA is giving him scrutiny but have found nothing thus far:
