Shares in Afleet Alex may be more expensive on Monday than they were Friday.
red board alert:
amazing how anxious the wise guys were to bash this one.
the trainer is semi retired, prob lives and breaths this one horse he paid 260k for, and it was working up a storm, the right way for a meant debut.
Don\'t know if you meant me, but I wasn\'t redboarding (see analysis).
Don\'t think he meant you JB.
He mentioned wise guys pounding the horse down, and the trainer intent. He posted after the race and may have been referring to himself.
For those of you that don\'t know or remember Leon Blusiewicz was a top Maryland based trainer from the 60\'s through the 90\'s back when Maryland actually had real racing. He was also know as a total madman at the windows !!! He regularly came to Saratoga and took the money home.
This was the latest version of the fastest horse in the world touted from Maine to Spain all over the Spa the past week. Blue was back with a runner, most said who is Blue ? For once the coconut telegraph was right with a firster !
Sharpies that we were at the Carolina BBQ today ( myself, Allen, Jimbo & Richiebee )
said 1st timer, 8 hole, 2 turns going against the rail horse with 7 at 2/1 No way.
The 8 & 1 exacta paid $ 50.00. Of course we stayed inside with 1 over the 2,3,4 triple and super which the 8 1 4 tri returned $ 497.00
I believe Allen did cash a saver exacta and a place bet which I believe was the only cashed all day ?
This was only the start of a fun but not a profitable day.
More to follow on that note ???
Frank D.
The used to call his barn \"The Blue Crew\" whenever he shipped to NY.

Actually I referred to the wise guys KNOCKING the horse, but yes, I was referring to my own red boarding.
Not you JB
But the pompous Mr. Byk told all of us in attendance.. how likely this horse was to finish last as well as first...as this blue crew likes to do...tout all over
