Maybe is worth a trip to the Snore tomorrow.

You\'re always knocking MTH..I find them to have some of the best racing going on lately. Big Fields, competitive races and very good payouts. I don\'t get it, does that put you to sleep? Not knocking ya, just trying to figure out what\'s bad about it. Does anyone know if the three day weekend has been a success so far?
A mini fraud. Purse distribution waters down the owners $$ attraction somewhat and for only 3 days per week, the cards are just ok.Still lots of cheap garbage can races though,10 yesterday.
Mike
It\'s a beautiful track, no doubt.
When I heard about the 3 days a week racing idea and the million dollar purses, i assumed that we were going to see a touch of Saratoga. It\'s not happening.
Could not have said it any better than Mike.
Good Luck,
Joe B.
Correct me someone if I\'m wrong - but thats a wide open strip right ? Curious to see the percent of significant tops ran for the last two seasons compared to \'07- 08 meets . In defense of Lost\'s position , I read somewhere on the internet - so it must be a fact - that Sar is for people that never heard of MTH ! . ..
Mmmmm, I don\'t agree. I judge a track by how attractive it is to me as a bettor and right now Monmouth is the only place I want to play. Maybe it\'s just the size of the fields. Belmont and Hollywood are turnoffs and Churchill has lately been very strange. Monmouth has been less biased than in past years and far easier to hit at a price.
Saratoga isn\'t Saratoga anymore. It\'s been watered down with 4 or more state-bred races per day. And based on what we\'re seeing at Bel, it\'ll be worse this year. Except for spot plays, I\'m ignoring Belmont. Right now the most attractive cards are at Mth. I would like to see them boost up the Stakes purses and reduce the cheap claimers and J-breds purses, but the full fields are great and there is money to be made.
I still think this one is going to hit at a price this summer. Wouldn\'t be surprised if she ran the same number as winner--again.
She ran well. Thought she had a shot to run second for a few moments.
Turf bias hard to overcome right now and it will not change until central NJ gets some rain.
Good Luck,
Joe B.
Not exactly sure what to think about the post new main course era at Monmouth in terms of handicapping and wager strategies , but the racing surface seems to be playing about the same as the old one imo . ..
